Professor Bragg's research is in aerodynamics and flight mechanics with primary application to the effect of ice accretion on aircraft. His research is primarily experimental using the wind tunnels of the Aerodynamics Laboratory on campus, or other facilities from around the world, but also incorporates computational methods. Other recent applications have included engine airframe integration for supersonic aircraft and advanced control surface aerodynamics. More fundamental studies of unsteady and separated flows are also an interest.
