AIAA visited General Electric's Aviation Facility and tour the Customer Training Education Center (CTEC) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

AIAA/ISS Paintball Tournament October 9, 2010
We had a record turnout for the AIAA/ISS Fall 2010 Paintball Tournament. Over 70 people participated in this outlandish massacre of aero upon aero action. The teams were divided up along the ISS and AIAA ranks, with 40 and 30 people respectively. The weather was awesome, the competition intense, and the outcome very rewarding. Let's look forward to our next round of CO2-powered simulated warfare!
Freshman Picnic September 16, 2010
We had a picnic with games and a lot of food to give freshmen and older AIAA members a chance to get to know each other and enjoy the good weather. We had a good turn out and everyone enjoyed the great food courtesy of our resident cook, Jason.
End-of-Year Department Picnic May 8, 2010

Junkyard Rockets April 20, 2010
AIAA hosted a junk yard rockets session where we designed handcrafted rockets made from waste materials then attached a small rocket motor to them. Launches were made on the Bardeen Engineering Quad. There were some close calls with some people nearly getting impaled by some of the rockets, but it was overall a great success!
Los Angeles Super Tour March 3, 2010
In Spring '10 we visited Los Angeles to tour Northrop Grumman and SpaceX. We also visited the California Science Center, the LAX viewing deck, Santa Monica Pier, Palos Verdes Cliffs and the Griffith Observatory. The weather was great, especially when it was still snowing back in Illinois.

Las Vegas Air Force Air Show October 20, 2009
AIAA went to annual Las Vegas Air Force Air Show in Fall 2009. We stayed at the MGM Grand on the Strip, watched shows, walked around taking in the sights and sounds of Las Vegas and of course attended the spectacular static and dynamic exhibits at the Air Show.
