PURPOSE
The purpose of the Industry Internship Program and the NASA Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD) Higher Education Internships is to train and develop the highly skilled scientific, engineering, and technical workforce of the future. These internships provide opportunities to involve a diverse group of undergraduate students in substantive, hands-on, engineering experiences to prepare them for future careers in aeronautics and space. Systems engineering experience is a key aspect of all these projects.
